SSODS Warnings

This software package attempts to provide a software environment to allow Slimdevice’s SqueezeCenter to run on Synology’s Diskstations (DS hereafter) and possibly other devices.

However, no warranties, expressed or implied, are made that it works and that it does not harm you, your DS, your dog or anything or anyone else. Even if it works now it does not necessarily mean that it will work in the future. On the contrary, it probably will not work anymore at some point in the future (e.g. if the DS firmware/system changes too much).

Please be aware that using this patch may void the warranty for the DS (or the device you install it onto) and it can make the DS unusable or render some of its functionality unusable. It may even destroy or damage it.

Furthermore, the author and publisher expressly disclaims the implied warranties of merchantability and of fitness for any particular purpose, even if the author has been advised of a particular purpose, and even if a particular purpose is indicated (e.g. in this text).

The author disclaims all liability for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages that result from any use of this package (SSODS) or the information contained in it.

The author does not guarantee any further development of this package. All information to build SSODS are included with the package and anyone can improve it, create a fork or whatever. Especially newer firmwares may render SSODS unusable.
